Inclement Weather Service Policy
Last updated: [12/23/2025]

Certain weather conditions—especially freezing temperatures—require adjustments to how rooftop work is performed. These adjustments protect technician safety and your equipment while maintaining compliance and service quality.

Freezing threshold: applies at or below 32°F
Safety
Compliance
Equipment protection

Why rooftop pressure washing may be deferred

  • Roof safety: TPO/TPE roofing can freeze and become unsafe.
  • Cleaning effectiveness: water can freeze on contact with grease.
  • Operational risk: freezing water may seize or damage fan components.

How service is completed during freezing conditions

  • Interior ductwork and hood systems are fully cleaned using pressure washing from the interior.
  • Exhaust fans are cleaned by hand to the best and safest extent possible.
  • Rooftop fan pressure washing is completed at the next scheduled service when temperatures are above freezing.

Pricing & effectiveness
  • No discounts or price adjustments for freezing-condition service.
  • Service remains compliant and effective; methods are adjusted, not effort.
  • Deferred rooftop pressure washing is completed next visit at no added cost.

Rescheduling option
You may reschedule for above-freezing temperatures with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
If temperatures remain above freezing, full-system service proceeds as scheduled.

Severe weather postponements

If temperatures drop below freezing after rainfall, or ice creates unsafe travel/rooftop access, management may postpone service for safety and quality.

Technician safety & judgment

  • Use sound judgment during extreme weather.
  • Evaluate each job site individually.
  • Make good-faith efforts to complete service when it is safe.
  • Prioritize personal and job-site safety.

Our commitment

We aim to be transparent and consistent while keeping you compliant and informed. Weather-related adjustments protect people, property, and equipment—without compromising service quality.
